Welcome to Branch Hill Bakery! We are proud to operate as an Ohio Cottage Food Production Operation from our home kitchen in Loveland, Ohio, in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code and regulations established by the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
Our bakery specializes in handcrafted, small-batch sourdough breads, bagels, cookies, scones, and other approved cottage food products.
Home Production Notice
All products sold by Branch Hill Bakery are produced in a private home kitchen under Ohio Cottage Food laws.
This product is home produced.
Product Information
Each packaged product includes:
- Product name
- Complete ingredient list in descending order by weight
- Net weight
- Business name and address
- Required Ohio Cottage Food statement: “This product is home produced.”
Our labels comply with applicable Ohio Cottage Food labeling requirements and federal food labeling regulations where applicable.
Allergen Information
Many of our products contain or may contain common food allergens including:
- Wheat
- Milk
- Eggs
- Soy
- Tree Nuts
- Sesame
Although we follow careful cleaning procedures between batches, our home kitchen is not an allergen-free facility. Products may come into contact with allergens during preparation.
Customers with severe food allergies should use their own judgment before consuming our products.
Product Availability
Because every item is handcrafted in small batches using naturally fermented sourdough, availability may vary from week to week.
Freshness
Our breads and baked goods are made without commercial preservatives.
For the best quality:
- Enjoy bread within 2–3 days or freeze for longer storage.
- Refrigeration is not recommended for most breads as it may accelerate staling.
Food Safety
Our products are prepared following good sanitation and food handling practices. Only foods permitted under Ohio Cottage Food laws are produced and sold.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will work with you to resolve legitimate quality concerns.
Ordering & Pickup
Orders are prepared fresh according to our weekly baking schedule.
Customers are responsible for picking up orders during the scheduled pickup window unless other arrangements have been made.
Limitation of Liability
Branch Hill Bakery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or consumption of our products. By purchasing from Branch Hill Bakery, customers acknowledge responsibility for reviewing ingredient and allergen information before consumption.
